Better seed, better harvests

Quality fingerlings are where a farmer's profit starts. Here is how our work reaches beyond the hatchery.

The problem we work on

Demand for fish keeps rising, and farmers are ready to grow it. What holds them back is seed: poor-quality fingerlings lower survival before a farm has even started, and good hatcheries are few and far from many farms.

Every batch of strong, fast-growing fingerlings we deliver is a farm that is more likely to reach a profitable harvest.

Food security

Tilapia is affordable protein. More reliable seed means more fish in local markets.

Farmer livelihoods

Better survival and faster growth raise farm income, backed by our training and follow-up.

Youth jobs and skills

We are a youth-led business, building aquaculture careers in the Lake Zone.

Climate-smart production

Solar-powered systems and careful water use keep our footprint low.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals

  • 2Zero hunger
  • 8Decent work and economic growth
  • 14Life below water

Our 2030 goal: 18 million fingerlings a year, reaching thousands of farmers across East Africa.
